According to statistics from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), police vehicles use an average of 1,423 gallons of fuel yearly—nearly three times the standard of an ordinary civilian car. Tracking fuel usage can be a difficult task. Add vehicle maintenance, and keeping track of your fleet can become a real headache.

In-Synch RMS has a Fleet Management module built to organize the various vehicles in your agency. Users can track standard items such as vehicle assignments, starting and ending mileage, fuel consumption, and routine maintenance. Agencies can create customized pick list entries for sanitation, equipment checks, or other agency-defined fleet "events."

Fleet Management allows your agency to track fuel usage (gallons used, costs, and MPG), average and total maintenance costs (per vehicle), and receive color-coded warnings for upcoming and overdue maintenance.
