July 2017 Tips - Call Times
The RMS system has several ways for a user to enter the appropriate call times into the Add/Edit Call window (A). The only way to enter a previous time is to manually adjust the appropriate Call time field.
Setting the Call Times Manually
With the Add/Edit Call window open, select the drop down arrow (A), and then select the appropriate month, day, and year (B). With that selected, set the appropriate hour, and minute with the up and down arrows (C).
You can also just type the date and time directly into the appropriate field.
Setting the Call Times via the Hyperlink
With the Add/Edit Call window open, click the Blue Hyperlink for the corresponding field (A). This will set that field to the current date and time of the Windows clock.
Setting the Call Times via the Function Keys
With the Add/Edit Call window open, pressing the appropriate Function Key will set individual Call Times. Press F2 to set the Reported time (A). Press F6 to set the Dispatched time (B). Press F7 to set the Arrived time (C). Press F8 to set the Cleared time (D). This will set the corresponding field to the current date and time of the Windows clock.
